Juvenile Starlings and their parents certainly do make a racket, Ginny!! I always know when Starlings have been in my bird bath, they leave it the muddiest of any bird that uses it, either they get dirtier or they bath more thoroughly :)
I actually think I'm beginning to recognize this fox. She's the one that I always thought had such a kind, motherly face. That thought makes me so happy.
Yes. She is the same one Ratty. She's been here for a few years now and is quite comfortable around me but if anyone else gets close to their window she runs. But I open my window to throw her food and talk to her all the time. I'm anxiously waiting to see some pups. Thanks for your comments everyone.
