Snow Pictures-December 27-29, 2012

We got quite a bit of snow the past few days. These are just a few of the critters pics I took.

Love the Cardinals in the snow!
Here's Tilly, all by herself. I hope she makes it through the winter. I think she will. She's a tough one.

December 23-25th- 2012-A Few Photos-Lone Fawn-Hawk-Squirrels-Moon

 Tilly
The hawk is always around here now, scaring the birds and little critters.
Tilly, the other twin  that survived the hunters. Her mom and twin sister were not as lucky.
 Blacky
The moon behind the tree and Tilly. She is alone a lot. Sometimes she comes with her Aunt. I feel sad for her since her mom and sister got killed.
My little red squirrel has been here for almost a year now. There are a few but this one was the first one I spotted. I call him 'Sprout". Because of his tail.
 I love this squirrel!

December 8th-14th Wildlife-2012-Milly Is Gone

 Cardinals waiting for snow.
Tilly is all alone this past week. She just comes with her Aunts now at times and sometimes she's alone. Milly, her twin sister has been killed by hunters I think, along with their mom. Lots of gunshots were heard on the last day of hunting. That's when they can kill Does. I am sad and Tilly is lonesome and very nervous now. Damn hunters aren't supposed to kill the young ones.
The sky with the sun behind the clouds at sunset.
One of Tilly's Aunts and Tilly.
A frosty morning with the sun coming up through the back woods.
The black squirrel is still here. I love him!
Isn't he beautiful!! I sure hope he survives out there this winter.

December 2nd Thru 7th-2012-Geese-Doe-Sky-Cardinals-Black Squirrel

You have to look close and click on this to enlarge to be able to see the flocks of geese flying through.
One of the young does. I call this one Milly.
The sky after jets left their streams in the sky at sunset. Those are not clouds. They are jet trails. I still wonder what they are up to sometimes.
 Cardinals
This guy is still here and doing very well. He's a lot more friendlier now.
The young girls. Milly and Tilly.
