Birds-Fox-Chipmunk-May 17, 2011

The Baltimore Oriole

I still can't figure out what that brown colored bird is. It's as big as a Robin with a stripe on the side of it's head and spotted belly.

The chipmunk hiding in the bush. And doing acrobats..Ha! Ha! Look how he straddles those branches.

The female fox and her taking a treat back to the pups somewhere deep in the woods. I can just about hear them when she gets near. Hope to see them soon.

Here's that unknown bird again.

I can't see the brown bird very well, but I wonder if it's a female red-winged blackbird. I see what looks like a male in there in one picture.

Ratty. You might be correct on that!! It does resemble an adult red Winged Female that they have on the Cornell site. And there is a male in that tree also. Yaayyy Ratty!!! Thanks so much!
