The Squirrel By Her Nest-4-19-2011

I still haven't seen any activity around this nest. Maybe there aren't any little ones inside. I usually see the young squirrels at the beginning of May. I was hoping I'd see some come out of that nest. It's been raining so much. I don't know how they stay dry.

I have watched a new nest being built but haven't noticed any nursing moms yet.

I figured I'd put one of my Scrapblog pages I made last year up. I only get to enjoy them once a year.. Thank you girls!
Prairie..I see lots of moms that you can really tell that they are nursing young ones. This particular one doesn't. I'm thinking maybe she is just using it and it's her home. They all have homes somewhere. But I was hoping to see little ones. In a way I'd be glad if there wasn't any babies way up there. It's so high and I'd worry about them falling.

I love your header. It makes me look very young.

The squirrel sure does seem to be sticking close to its home. Maybe there is something in there. I'm sure the babies are protected enough not to fall, even that high up. Have a Happy Easter.

Ha! Ha! Rain. We all need something to make us feel young now and then.
Ratty. I'm hoping they will make it if there is babies in there. Hopefully this cold weather will come to an end real soon. It is Spring but doesn't feel like it yet.
Happy Easter to you all!!
