May 20, 2010-Birds-Chipmunks-Fox-Baby Squirrel

This young squirrel has managed to keep out of harm's way so far. But he does linger way too long in the evening, all by himself.

This old squirrel is not too afraid of the foxes. Sometimes she will come right down on the ground and not be too far away from the fox. She's pretty beat up it seems and old.

The fox pair in the evening. The male doesn't come down too close very often. Sometimes the other one will take a treat up to him and drop it. Maybe it's the male. I'm never too sure about their sex because I can never see under them..Ha!

So sorry not to have commented recently Ginny, I have had all sorts of computer problems :(

I have just looked through your last posts and the photos are lovely as usual, I just can't imagine seeing Skunks, Chipmunks and Raccoons from my window...just amazing!

How funny you are to identify their sex; just order them to stand up!

Hopefully the squirrels will both stay safe. All of these animals together will give them all some hard lessons about each other. Nature in action.
