May 14, 2010-Fox Pair

A hawk flying high and a pretty Butterfly.

This is a young squirrel that I had just taken photos of but a couple minutes later got taken by one of the foxes. He just wasn't fast and not paying attention to the adult squirrel's warnings. The foxes have to eat too. I saw the fox carrying it but couldn't get my camera fast enough. It's a good thing I guess. Too sad anyway. I'm glad I didn't have time to get attached to that little one.

This is one of the fox pairs that come around. Today they happened to be together for a few minutes.

This is another one of the foxes. I am trying to keep track of them but it's hard. They look so much alike. But I do look at their chest area and face. Some have slightly different markings. Such pretty animals.

I read that bird feeders have changed the living style of some birds. They never migrate to other places because they manage to find food during the winter time.

I know I've said this before, but the foxes are my favorite. You get so many wonderful pictures of all your animals.

Poor little squirrel, such a shame, it looked so full of fun but as you say the foxes have to eat too and that is Nature.

Lovely photos again.

Poor little squirrel. Nature has to work, otherwise no animals would survive.
