This is the old female woodchuck. She came down from the back on this day. She looked better than the first day I saw her.

I spotted this little Deer Mouse. I had to open the window a little and wait for it to come out again. It looks quite fat. Probably going to have babies.. Better mice than RATS!! Never see any of those any more, thank heavens. I finally figured out this new format. Except the color of the font isn't coming out black even though it is checked for black. I'll work on that another time.

April 24, 2012-The Squirrels Together-Cardinals

Two Red squirrels and a gray one.

The pair of Cardinals. I think a nest is over in that area because they always hang around that spot.

This is a very aggressive mommy squirrel. She is jumping and climbing on the window all the time now.

The red squirrel is watching the gray one. They seem to be okay with each other though. When more than one gray one is around the red one will get back into the rock wall for safety.

April 21Thru 23, 2012 -Woodchucks-Sparrows-Red Squirrels

This is one of the woodchucks that was around last year. It's in good shape. First time I've seen it.

I can't remember what kind of Sparrow this is. Song or Chipping?

House Sparrows

This is the old woodchuck that was around last year. She's all scarred up and has a bad back leg. Poor thing. Maybe she has young ones around. I hope I see them.

I haven't seen any activity around this nest yet. Not sure if there are any babies in there.

April 18, 2012-Flowers, Squirrels And Birds

I've got some pretty flowers growing outside my window..LOL

I'm glad I found where to get back on this old interface or I'd never be able to get pictures on. I tried yesterday but they wouldn't go on. I hate the new interface.

April 16th-17th-2012-Woodchuck-Birds-Squirrels

My first sighting of the woodchuck. I was happy to see her again but she sure looks beat up since last year. She has a few scars and one is real huge on her right shoulder. Thank heavens it healed okay. She came running when I called her, to get some nuts. So I'm happy that she remembered me. Maybe I'll see a young one again this year if I'm lucky!

I love how the squirrel was looking at her and how they looked at each other in the one photo.

I see the mother squirrel going into her nest all the time so I'm sure there are babies in there. haven't seen any movement around there yet.

April 14th, 2012-Birds-Chipmunks-Red Squirrels

Two Red squirrels. The one on the ground is very bossy and chases the other one into the rock wall.

Here's the two red squirrels in the rock wall.

The one who had the short tail has sprung new growth and it looks funny. I can spot him from quite a ways.

Well! I see a flower from my window now! Ha! Ha! And it won't be long before those Lilacs are all out.

April 13th Photos-2012

I haven't seen any young squirrels yet. But you can see that this one is nursing babies.
