December 27, 2010-Cardinals-Gold Finches

Two Goldfinches came down on the ground to get some food and then they were gone. Haven't seen them again but it was nice seeing them. And it's always nice to see the Cardinals!! I especially like it when the female and male are together.

In each of your pictures there are more birds than I've seen all winter, and they're some of my favorite kinds. Your pictures are always the very best.

You have some wonderful posts with a good collection of pictures. There are a few companies that will print your blogs, and making a story of your love of nature could be a treasure for family who you would like to share this with.I like your mosaics of species, it is a lot of fun.

Thank you everyone. I really appreciate your comments. Out on the Prairie.....I often have my blogs printed into books. Sharebook does a good job!! I also make hard cover books through Blurb or Snapfish for my family. Whoever has the best deal at the time...

It amazes me that these small creatures manage to survive the cold.
I hope you are feeling well and that the New Year is gentle on you.

I am feeling better than I have in two years Martha! But I know the cancer will get me sometime this new year. It's all through my liver but I'm enjoying these painless days for now. I always feel sorry for the little critters when it's below freezing out there. But they do survive somehow.
Thank you Country Mouse!!
