A Crow

A Robin can barely be seen on a branch in the top photo and a Crow sits on a branch in the bottom one.

Two Red Squirrels facing off in the top photo.

This one eats as the other one waits inside the rock wall. I'm pretty sure this is a female who might have babies in a nest. If so I can't wait to see them when they are big enough to come down.

A Starling sits on the wall. I'm not sure why but it sat like that for a long time. Two squirrels watch something. There was something going on back there. I can't see up over that wall. Sure wish I could.

Of course the moon was behind trees most of the night so I never got a clear shot at it on the 6th.

This squirrel had a nasty big tick on it's back but I see she has chewed it off. Hope she won't get infected.

I took these at 5 am on the 7th. I wanted to get up at 3 am but I slept through. When I woke up the moon was back behind some trees again..

April 5, 2012-Cardinal-Chickadee-Squirrel-Moon

The one male cardinal that is around here. He has a mate and they hang together but she doesn't come around as much. She hides in a bush while he gets the food.

This squirrel was eating the bursting buds on this Hawthorne bush.

The moon behind the trees. It looked awesome with the clouds. I did not want to get up and take pictures at 3 am when it was free and clear of trees.

Some sort of a cargo plane going by. Very noisy.

The sky at sundown on the 4th and a rainbow! The sky got this funny color and then it rained and a double rainbow came out behind the trees out back. It was awesome to see but too dark to get good pics.

Last Photos For March-2012-Birds-Red Squirrel

I am still seeing about three red squirrels around. I haven't seen any females though. The three I see are all males.

I love this little bird. The Tufted Titmouse.

I finally got a good shot of this pretty little Black Capped Chickadee.

More shots of the Tufted Titmouse. I'm surprised it stayed still long enough for me to take photos. They are usually so fast and never sit still long.
