The squirrels are so pretty Ginny, you always get such lovely photos of your creatures! I think our native Red Squirrel is a little smaller than yours and more uniformly red, unfortunately they are now only found in a few areas of the UK having been outnumbered by the Grey Squirrel which was originally introduced from the USA and carries a disease which has had dire consequences for our red ones. They are all so entertaining to watch though and you get such close views of their antics.
I also loved the little Chipmunk on the last post, so sweet!

I really love squirrels so much, especially those ornery little red squirrels. And gray squirrels are such a marvel to me because I don't see many.
You are good to tell me the difference, otherwise I would think both of them are the same.
Now these squirrels look ever so happy!

Are your red squirrels as annoying as ours. Do they chatter all the time?
