A Red-Bellied Woodpecker.
Blacky and a house sparrow.
Tilly and the gang, out in the snow.
Turkey in the snow.
One of the adult females and the moon that night.
The red squirrels seem to have survived the winter in good health. I have about four that come all the time.
This is Tilly.
The black squirrel is still here. Here he is playing with a gray one. He tried to mate with many. I'm hoping to see little black ones soon.
All the black birds came through. Red Wings, Grackles, Cowbirds and who knows what else. I was glad when they left. Didn't want them eating all the food.
The little weasel was out there for one day and never have seen him since. I'm glad. he would have killed all the chipmunks. But he sure is cute!
A few of the turkeys were coming down every day. Now I don't see them as much. They sure leave big "poops". Ha!
The woodchuck finally showed up.
These turkeys got scared and flew up in the trees. The culprit is sitting there on the grass.
This is Blacky. He's been here since November 3rd.
One of the chipmunks that came out earlier than the others.
Blacky was missing for a week. I was making these to remember him, and then he came back.
He came back and I was so happy. He's such a good squirrel and so pretty. And he's the only black squirrel around.
I watched him as he roamed through the trees.
It was breezy this day and that is why his fur looks like that.
This is April 18th, the last day I saw Blacky. I Have never seen him again. I'm hoping he just moved on to new territory. I don't want to think about anything else that could have happened to him. I loved having him around for five months.
