July 18th-20th-2012-The Deer-Fawns And Doe
Mom brought out one fawn with her on this day.
This fawn is getting brave. It came out all by itself and wandered over looking for apples and nuts.
Mom was by herself later that day. The flies were really bugging her.
The female looks like she's pregnant or else just nice and plump! She keeps herself so clean.
All three of the fawns came out alone this morning. They stayed out there for a while till something spooked them and they ran back into the bushes. I never did see them again. The mom came out later a few times by herself. This is the first I've seen all three of them in over a week.

July 16th-17th-2012-Crow-Doe-More Hawk Pics
It was funny to watch the Bluejays trying to get that beetle from the crow. They didn't succeed of course.
It was another hot day on the 17th and the poor doe was all covered with flies again. They were all over her eyelids. She hasn't brought the fawns out for a week now. Too hot.
This little sharp shinned hawk is hanging around a lot now. I don't think it's even 12 inches from it's head to end of tail. he looks much smaller than in these pictures. I think he's so pretty.
I love his eyes.

July 12th-15th-2012-Doe-Red Squirrels-Hawk-Juv Jays
This is a juvenile hawk. He was quite small and chasing birds around. I think he's a Sharp Shinned because his tail is squared off. But I could be wrong and it might be a juvenile Coopers Hawk.

July 5, 2012-Red Squirrel-Deer And Three Fawns On The 5th
A red squirrel waiting for the fox to leave
It was so hot this day and the flies were all over this Doe. She didn't have the fawns with her at that time.
Mommy deer
She had three fawns with her. I think one of them belongs to the other doe that is around but I've never been able to catch. They all hung around together last year also. I think the does take turns babysitting..LOL
What a beautiful sight to see at 6:30 in the morning!
They are heading back to the woods before it got too hot.
