December 27, 2010-Cardinals-Gold Finches

Two Goldfinches came down on the ground to get some food and then they were gone. Haven't seen them again but it was nice seeing them. And it's always nice to see the Cardinals!! I especially like it when the female and male are together.

December 20th Collages-Turkeys-Foxes

I couldn't believe I saw four Turkeys in the trees! They had been over in the back woods then flew to this spot. At first I thought they were Turkey Vultures but turns out they were just regular wild turkeys. I watched and watched so I could catch them when they flew away but you might know I missed it. I spotted one fox out there after dark. I think it's the daddy fox that always came around and waited for me. But still not sure.

Two Gray Foxes out there but can only see the eyes shining on one. I still haven't gotten any good close ups of them to see which ones they are. It's just nice to see them again and know they are okay.

From December 10, 2010-Squirrels-Hawk-Birds

I think this is a Cooper's hawk. He's been hanging around a lot because of the overcast skies and rain and snow. He scares my Cockatiel so bad. Ricky screams when he sees him and goes flying to the top of the cupboard in the kitchen. Sometimes crashing into the wall.

Quite a few birds in this bush and the squirrel also. And a pretty fat BlueJay!

This squirrel looks so cute as he digs for nuts under the snow and then comes up with snow on his face.

December 8, 2010-More Birds

I can drive now so after getting back from getting my staples out yesterday I went out and brushed the snow off my car. It started right up! I went and got my own groceries and critter food. Now I won't have to bother anyone any more. Felt real good yesterday. Glad I went because it started to snow heavy last night at dark. It's real pretty out there this morning. I love the snow as long as I don't have to go out in it much. It's very cold today though. Only in the high teens.
Here are some photos from before all the snow yesterday. I did take a night shot of it falling. can't see much but white dots..Ha! Winter is here to stay now I think.
