One of the female gray fox out early in the morning in the rain. It's been rainy and gloomy here and will be that way all week. The photos won't be that good.
This young Flicker seems to be injured. Maybe a foot. Not sure but it was moving too slow. It's been landing on that same spot for a few days. But today is when I noticed it didn't seem right. It flies okay though.
These pictures are real bad but there were two deer out there just before dark. I haven't seen any deer in a long time.
And of course the nuisance skunks that come out when the foxes do and take all the fox treats..Ha!

Lovely to see the Baltimore Orioles on an earlier post, they are such a beautiful colour. I just love your Pileated Woodpecker, it is a lot like our Great Spotted Woodpecker but yours looks a lot bigger.
Nice to see the Woodchuck also. I really have never encountered anyone with such an amazing variety of wildlife literally on their doorstep!!
