No. I use the flash when they are directly across from my window. I stand up on a stool because my windows sit below that rock wall. I open the top part of my window and talk tot hem from there and take the photos. They are used to me doing that. Soon they will be coming during the day with the young ones. I like that because I can get better photos of them. You can see some in my old posts from last year and the year before.
Those pictures of the tufted titmouse are great. I love pictures that can even come close to that effect. And the collage of the fox is a classic. I always find it so amazing that the animals like you so much that they tolerate the flash on your camera.
Thanks Ratty. It seems that all the night critters don't mind me flashing them. Maybe the light blinds them though. Had a skunk begging me for food tonight.
