A red squirrel waiting for the fox to leave
It was so hot this day and the flies were all over this Doe. She didn't have the fawns with her at that time.
Mommy deer
She had three fawns with her. I think one of them belongs to the other doe that is around but I've never been able to catch. They all hung around together last year also. I think the does take turns babysitting..LOL
What a beautiful sight to see at 6:30 in the morning!
They are heading back to the woods before it got too hot.

I always enjoy the beautiful sight in the early morning.
Hi Ginny, I hope you had a good July 4th! It has been lovely to go through all your fawn photos, what pretty and dainty looking creatures they are.
I also enjoyed the baby Skunks, such funny, fluffy little things :-) It was fun to see your Blue Jay sunbathing too. Our Blackbirds do that....well they do if we ever have any sun!
We have had nothing but rain for the last three months, just yesterday we had a month's rain in one day and many places are flooded, it is so depressing :-(
Those flies look terrible. I like the three together. One summer I found a doe who adopted two other orphans and visited a campground daily with her four babies.
I always love the sight of deer with their little ones.
