This little hawk swooped down below my window and got a Starling. This is the closest I've ever saw him and you might know it was hard for me to get my camera ready but I got these pics and a short video after he flew off with it and was eating it. We had some snow overnight. It looked real pretty till it all melted away later. More coming tomorrow. The little bird on the ground is a Nuthatch. And a squirrel on the tree.

A very interesting subject. The good thing about this is that there are plenty of starlings out there for the hawk to eat. It will never go hungry with them around.
It maybe cruel in reality, but I see a good theme for photography.
